Handling

Handling Charges are Included in the Shipping Cost (as is Insurance, Generally). You would Agree that an Item Doesn't Just Hop into a Box, Wrap, Tape and Label itself all Free of Charge! Seriously, We Package Your Product(s) in the Appropriate Shipping Shipping Container that is Required as a Minimum of Acceptance Standard by the Carrier, Package, Tape and Label Your Order in a Manner and Method That will See It Safely Arrive with Minimum Likelyhood of Damage or Injury. As Shipping Insurance is for Shipping Damages, It Does Behoove Us to Take the Time and Care in the Preparatory Process to Avoid the Possibilty of Damages Altogether. In the Case of LTL Freight, the Handling Charges includes a Pallet (up to $30 Value ea.) and Shrink Wrapping to Contain and Protect the Products from Weather , Contamination and Damage. Please Save All Shipping Materials Long enough to Inspect Your Order for Damage. In the Unlikely Event that Shipping Damage Does Occur, the Carrier will need to Inspect these Materials to Assess the Cause and Remedy.

Insurance

Shipping Insurance is for Shipping Damages. Even though the Likelyhood of Your Order Incurring any type of Damage during the Shipping Process is Remote, You Must be Prepared to Inspect Your Order for Just such an Occurrence. In the Case of Shipping Damages, Understand that the Damage Happened after the Order left Our Hands and that the Claim of Damage is Yours to make with the Carrier upon Arrival and Subsequent Inspection by You. Shipping Insurance was Provided for (Generally) at Time of Shipment, and the Carrier will want to deal with You in this Respect, as You are, and Must, make the Claim. We Will Assist You, and Get Involved as Much as the Carrier will Allow for This Involvement.

Discovered Damages "After the Fact" and time of Delivery will Necessitate You retaining the Shipping Container and/or All Shipping Materials Associated with the Packaging of Your Order as the Shipping Carrier will Want to Inspect These Materials to Assess the Cause and Remedy. Again, Understand that the Damage Happened after the Order left Our Hands and that the Claim of Damage is Yours to make with the Carrier upon Arrival and Subsequent Inspection by You. Shipping Insurance was Provided for (Generally) at Time of Shipment, and the Carrier will want to deal with You in this Respect, as You are, and Must, make the Claim. We Will Assist You, and Get Involved as Much as the Carrier will Allow for This Involvement.

Damages in Shipping and Delivery

It is the Receiver's responsibility to inspect the Order completely as and when delivered. This should be done prior to signing any acknowledgement for receipt of Order/Shipment. Do NOT accept any visibly damaged item unless the courier representative has noted the item damaged and the extent of the damage on the paperwork they expect you to sign acknowledging receipt of the shipment. Retain a copy of this paperwork to send us when filing any claim. For concealed damages found while unpacking the shipment, retain all packing materials and paperwork associated with the shipment, then call us immediately at the Phone Number above. All damages must be reported on the day of delivery.
